About Us
We’re Ethiopian Historians
Established following two meetings in 2020 and 2021 convened by the Ministry of Peace of the Federal Government of Ethiopia, in collaboration with Destiny Ethiopia.
We already made a critical intervention in the deadlock surrounding the common history course module prepared for incoming university students, enabling the Ministry of Education to authorize the giving of the course.
Our Special
Objectives
promote the expansion and enrichment of historical knowledge through training, dialogue, research and publication;
bring together professional historians with a view to enhancing their professional competence and the execution of their national obligation to produce quality history
interact with kindred national and international organizations with a view to facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience
ensure that historical training will contribute its share to the promotion of national consensus
exert to the maximum to promote historical research free from political, religious, racial, linguistic or gender bias
